MICHAEL TRUCANO ELECTED TO ULTIMED BOARD OF DIRECTORS ST. PAUL, MINNESOTA – February 12, 2008 – UltiMed’s Board of Directors has elected Michael Trucano as its newest Board member. UltiMed now has seven members on its Board, five of whom are outside directors. Michael Trucano spent his career as an attorney with Dorsey & Whitney, which is one of the largest and most respected law firms in the United States. Mr. Trucano is presently affiliated with Dorsey’s Corporate group in the capacity of Senior Counsel. He was a partner at Dorsey from 1976-2004 and has been involved in a variety of management positions, including Vice Chairman of the Firm, Office Head of the Firm’s Minneapolis Office, Group Head of the Business Group, Chair of the Corporate Department and a member of the Firm’s Policy Committee (Board of Directors) for 18 years. Mr. Trucano’s practice involved the representation of public and closely-held business entities, with a focus on M&A, finance and general corporate matters. Mr. Trucano has also represented venture capital investment companies and venture-backed technology companies. Michael Trucano received his BA degree from Carleton College and his JD from New York University’s School of Law. We look forward to his guidance in helping UltiMed fulfill its full potential.” In addition to UltiMed, Mr. Trucano is on the Boards of Directors of the Southern Minnesota Beet Sugar Cooperative and The Karen Wyckoff Rein Sarcoma Foundation.
