DAVE LIND JOINS ULTIMED AS DIRECTOR OF INTERNATIONAL SALES

ST. PAUL , MINNESOTA – August 10, 2004 – UltiMed has announced the appointment of Dave Lind as Director of International Sales.

Mr. Lind brings over 20 years of international sales, marketing and management experience in many product lines. Dave has held management positions with NCR, ADP, Periphonics and Nortel Networks. His most recent position was Sales Director, Asia/Pacific with a private company based in Singapore.

Dave will take the initiative to lead the drive in opening global markets for UltiGuard, UltiCare and private label insulin syringes. CEO Tom Erickson said, “We have tremendous potential in the global insulin syringe market because UltiMed has the only significant product differentiator in the market, our patented dual-use sharps container technology. Dave's knowledge of the international marketplace will allow us to leverage UntiMed's patented technology and gain significant market share in the insulin syringe market.”

Dave attended the University of Minnesota where he graduated with degrees in both Business Administration and Communications.
